HI, I’M JOHAN BOREHED.

I’m a photographer based in Örebro, Sweden and specialized in photojournalism, weddings, and sports. My photos have a documentary style, and I like to capture real and pure moments in life, not by arrangement – instead by letting them happen, as they were meant to be.

I picked up my first camera around the age of ten, a simple point-and-shoot. Though the cameras have changed, the feeling never has. I still get just as excited when the pictures get developed, and that reflects in my work, both in the final images, and on location.

I come from a music background and studied at Risbergska Skolan in Örebro, my hometown. Since then, I have studied journalism in Stockholm, worked at Göteborgs-Posten, Borås Tidning and freelanced as both a photographer and a journalist.

I’m a documentary style photographer, both in my photojournalism, but also when I shoot weddings, sports, and lifestyle. I like to be the “fly on the wall” and capture the true and real emotions of the moments. Furthermore, I also have experience with videography and good technical knowledge.
